Emőke Lőrincz graduated from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design as a graphic artist. Later her interest turned into the painting. Now she splits her career between design and painting.
The subject of her painting is to summon the nearby, visually documented past, to reconsider memories with fresh eyes. She reconstructs others’ memories by filtering them through her artistic vision, creating new memories for the present.
Only the nonexistent can stay unharmed; the evanescence crawls even into the imaginary world, to her paintings.
